WHAT I’M PLANNING IN
I currently am using a Hobonichi Cousin planner and I absolutely love it! I use the monthly spread for my budget/gratitude log, the weekly spread for my habit tracker and then the daily layout to catch everything else in my life. Follow me on Instagram if you want to see peeks of what my planning looks like!
I use my beloved Totoro pen that’s a 0.5mm. I love that it’s top heavy and has my favorite character from my favorite movie on it. I initially bought one at a little anime shop called Delight in Cottage Grove, OR. I do love pens, but my favorite ones always almost seem to randomly fall into my lap from the oddest of places! I use mostly stickers from KeenaPrints (Use the code LORNA15 for 15% off on all orders over $10 on www.keenaprints.com) & Sweet Kawaii Design. My cover is from AliExpress and yes, it’s pink and yes, it has unicorns on it. 🙂 Obviously, I like to make my planner cute and unique to me. I used to be crazy about the creative planning with washi tape, stickers and more, but it’s just not me. I have found my style over the years through trial and error. I believe everyone should do the same with their own planner and planning!
Here are a few of my favorite apps I use on a daily basis that I love!
Sweat (I secretly want Kayla Itsines to be my best friend.)
I am an avid podcast junkie. Because I work from home, I almost always have something playing in the background to keep me sane. I know, this list seems SO random, but here are a few of my all-time favorites:
Here are some books that have helped immensely with not just planning and productivity, but life overall. Some of them I read from every day in my morning routine:
The Far Reaches: Session One: A Feeling Like Fear (disclaimer, this is my husband’s book!)
Subscription kits are a great way to dip your toes in the water and see if you like creative planning. Everyone has their own unique style that’s individual to them. So keep in mind these shops are some of my own favorites, but that there’s many more out there (especially on Etsy) that might suit your style or aesthetic much more!
KeenaPrints: This is my go-to for all my cute stickers and hands down the stickers I use the most! Her shop is based in the Philippines, so if you’re based in the States it takes a while with shipping, but the wait is so worth it! Her stickers are smaller, cute and so relatable with the different characters she uses in them. And don’t forget to use the coupon code LORNA15 for 15% off on all orders over $10 on www.keenaprints.com.
Here’s a video I did of my most recent haul!
Sweet Kawaii Design: Tesia is amazing and so are her stickers! I’ve been buying from her since way back when she first started. Kawaii is Japanese for cute, so a lot of her stickers have anime/kawaii influence in them. They’re AMAZING quality and she is constantly churning out stickers and ideas! She also has some incredible subscription box options too. She always has coupons to help a sister save some moolah! As if things couldn’t get any better?!
The Planner Society: The value of this box far exceeds what you pay for. Christy Tomlinson has been a staple in the planner community for quite some time and there’s no doubt why! Her products are gorgeously designed and never fail to please. Her Planner Society Box is one I subscribe to each month and I never regret it!
Mommy Lhey: Lhey Bella’s products just. Make. Me. Swoon! Lots of pretty, soft pastels and kawaii influence too. Her products range from stamps to travelers notebooks, to pom poms, to pens! I adore the variety in her monthly kits as well. She truly listens to her customers and all around her products never disappoint.
