Promo stacking works because the visibility of your book compounds.
When several reader-facing promo sites send traffic to the same book around the same time, the increased activity can signal to retailers that your book is gaining interest — which may help with discoverability during that promo window.Â
You also can gain new readers, encourage readers to sign up for your email list and encourage them to leave reviews on your book.
This is why stacking promos in a 5-day period strategically is often more effective than spreading them out randomly across the year.
